Purchasing Training Workshops

We have developed training programmes, which address the needs of non-purchasing professionals with delegated spend responsibilities within Government and Local Government organisations. However these programs are also suitable for individuals with delegated spend responsibilities within commercial organisations.

Purchasing skills are very important contributors to delivering Best Value targets. An enormous amount of purchasing is carried out by departments and organisations within the umbrella of local government and yet outside of central Procurement.

The workshops are designed for individuals who are new to, or are likely to have, delegated responsibility for letting contracts. It would also be suitable for those staff who are new to managing the delivery of services or capital projects which form part of the overall function of City Councils.
